A spelling cabinet is a great place to store all your spelling needs. I use mine to store ingredients for spells and natural remedies....but never for cooking. If I wasn't planning on moving I would totally be adding protective symbols to the walls...but that will have to wait for now.
I have a contents page to keep track of everything I have and will need. This list is a good start if you are looking to develop your own spelling cabinet....but you should go with what you use most and what spells you are interested in. Start with making a list from spells that have caught your eye. You can gather these ingredients from the woods, bulk barns, health food stores... anywhere you can find them!
I also have a beautiful Hestia page as she is the Goddess of the Hearth. You could choose any diety that you connect with for this. Or not choose one at all.
TaDa! The whole cabinet! Gathering all the ingredients is amazing, especially the ones I dried on my own. I highly recommend doing this if you find the space. It's wonderful to have ingredients on hand to use when you need them. I have added a few other things here and there. I have some information on spelling with the moon and planets, a pinecone witch, different types of oils that I created for spellwork, tea bags for bath mixtures etc. You get the idea.
