~ a small jar
~ kosher salt
~ coins
~ alfalfa (seeds or leaves)
*Take your jar and fill it halfway with kosher salt
*Add your coins & Fill the rest of the way with alfalfa
*Screw the lid on tightly. Hold your jar and visualize your kitchen full of foods and drink and say,
"Bless this home with abundance. May it always be filled with enough to share. So mote it be!"
*Place it on a shelf and let it be. Every year refill it and once again chant over it.
*Make sure to strengthen the blessings in your home by once a month taking a few items from your shelf to the local food donation centre.
My family and I ended up gathering all the ingredients together which can lead to some strong magic as the jar is for all of us. My daughter and I mixed the spell and spoke our blessing over it. We have left it to sit out in the open in our kitchen. I found this spell and many more ideas from a great book called "Mrs. B's Guide to Household Witchery".
