Honouring The Rain Spirits

It's been a week of rain here in the North. Rain in which we need desperately as it has been a very dry spring. This is a simple offering and acknowledgement of the Rain Spirits in return for their blessing of life renewing showers. I found this spell and gave it a little Bone Witch twist.

~ Gather a small platter of things that need rain to grow (flowers, plants, fruit etc.)
~ Set it outside. Preferably on your altar if you have one outdoors. Sit quietly for a few minutes and enjoy the rain. Breathe in the fresh, crisp air that this rain has gifted you with. Feel the rain cleansing you as it soaks your skin and hair. Start chanting:

                                           ** Earth Mother
                                                Bring the rain down
                                                Earth Mother
                                                Give life to the ground
                                                Magikal waters
                                                That fall from above
                                                Cleanse me of any hate
                                                Fill me with love
                                                Blessed Be **

~ Leave the platter out over the day and night. I chose hard skinned fruit that I turned into a fresh juice for breakfast.
