Evoking
When you Evoke you are calling upon and commanding a presence. You are in control. I evoke the Directions/Elements/Watchtowers. You must be clear and firm so that no mischief comes about. If you are not firm and in control you may bring in unwanted entities that will overrule you. You demand them to leave when finished.
Invoking
When you Invoke you are bringing a presence within yourself for guidance. You must ask with respect. I invoke the Goddess, God and/or Spirit. You must always be respectful and never demanding. You ask that they leave when finished.
