These little truffle like chocolates are so much fun to make. Quick and Easy! I have three different types: Spicy, Coconut and Hazelnut
Spicy Chocolates
Ingredients:
~ Semi-Sweet Chocolate 8 ounces
~ 1/2 c. Whipping Cream
~ 1/4c. powdered sugar
~ 1 tsp. vanilla
~ 1/8 tsp cayenne
Coating:
~ 1/8 c. cocoa powder
~ 1 tsp. Cinnamon
Directions:
~ Break up chocolate and put in small pot.
~ Add the cream and whisk until completely melted and mixed together
~ Remove from heat
~ Add in powdered Sugar, vanilla and cayenne
~ Mix well
~ Pour into small container and cool in fridge for two hours. May not have to be this long or may be longer, keep an eye on it. You just need it to set and harden a bit.
~ Once set roll into small balls and roll into mixture of cocoa powder and cinnamon. Set on wax paper.
~ Keep refrigerated
White Coconut
Ingredients:
~ Bakers White Chocolate 8 oz
~ 1/2 c. Whipping Cream
~ 1 tsp. Vanilla
~ Handful of Cocount
Coating:
~ Shredded Coconut
Directions:
~ Same as above!
Hazelnut:
~ Ingredients:
~ Semi-Sweet Chocolate 8 oz
~ 1/2c. Whipping Cream
~ 1/4 c. Icing Suagr
~ 1 tsp. Hazelnut
~ Handful of Nuts
Coating:
~ Ground up nuts
Directions:
~ Same as Above!
