Ostara Ritual

I was taught this ritual a long time ago, but I have switched it up a bit and made it my own. Feel completely welcome to do the same.

Ostara Ritual

New Materials:

Drained Egg Shell (whole, colored in dye or not)

Marker

Cast your Circle

Invoke the Directions/ Elements
Invoke your God & Goddess
Invoke the Spirit

~Take your egg and mark it with the pentacle on one side. On the other side write a symbol or words that describe what you want to bring into your life for the year. It could represent a task, attitude or something specific that you want to accomplish.

~Pass the egg through the incense saying " I empower this egg with the smoke of the east"
~Pass the egg through the fire saying "I empower this egg with the fire of the south"
~Sprinkle moon water on the egg saying "I empower this egg with the waters of the west"
~Rub salt onto the egg saying "I empower this egg with the salts of the north"

~Place your egg onto your pentagram saying " I empower this egg with Safe Travels, Patience and Serenity for my family and I this summer. So Mote It Be."

~Place your hands in a triangle position above it.
~Chant. Draw power from your chant. Sway with it. Keep your hands over your egg. When done. Sit quietly over the egg.
