Element Altars

I have my Element Altars set up in my Kitchen as this is where I do my circle work. I eventually would love to have a pentacle painted on my floor for my circle too. I have them permanently set up as I was getting annoyed with the constant take down, set up part.

When doing circle work you must either evoke the Elements, Call upon the Watchtowers or Call upon the Directions, or a combination of all three. Each Direction has a different Element and is represented differently. There is more information on how to Evoke the Elements on the link.

Here is some helpful tips on how to set up your own altars. You can have them simple or set up with flare. Mine are working altars and I have kept them quite simple. This is what I have and part of what I do.

East is the Element Air
Some ideas to represent Air for your altar:
~ Feathers
~ a yellow candle
~ Incense
~ The act of dropping the feathers and letting them float in the air.

South is the Element Fire
Some ideas to represent Fire are:

~ Copper

West is the Element Water
Some ideas to represent Water:
